
Alyssa Chang
Life Science Research Professional
Alyssa Chang is a Life Science Research Professional in the Nakauchi Lab at Stanford University. She recently completed her master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at San Francisco State University as part of the CIRM Bridges Program. Alyssa assists Dr. Kouta Niizuma with projects involving CAR-macrophage engineering and antibody generation. She earned her B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley in 2020 and spent two years in the biotech industry as a research associate, focusing on mesenchymal stem cell therapies for cardiac ischemia. Alyssa is passionate about advancing research at the intersection of stem cell biology and immunotherapy. Outside of the lab, she enjoys playing video games, going to concerts, and spending time with her cat, Yuki.
