SPIT System: A New Frontier in In Vivo Genetic Engineering

Introduction of the SPIT.

The Secreted Particle Information Transfer (SPIT) system is a novel technology developed by our lab for delivering genetic material through engineered, secreted vesicle-like particles. SPIT enables precise, tissue-targeted gene modulation without the need for viral vectors.

This project is aimed at improving the safety, scalability, and controllability of gene delivery tools for regenerative medicine, and is currently being evaluated for CRISPR and base editor cargo systems.
